This is a KC Metal Works standard 20-foot band tower.  There is also a cage around the ladder for safety as well as a locking cover over the ladder base to prevent unauthorized use.  These two components were omitted from the drawing for clarity.  As you can see, there is ample room on the 10' x 5' platform for several people to have a bird's eye view.  The tower has plenty of rigidity and is extremely sturdy

This is our two-story tower with spiral stairs.  We now also install a 6' tall cage around the bottom of the staircase with a lockable door for safety.
